OK-KS is a test shuttle used to validate aerial transportation (delivered in August 1983 at RKK Energia). Other systems were evaluated, onboard electronic, computer systems, radio telecommunications and other equipment. Many modifications on the flying software were made on OK-KS for the flight of OK-1.01.
